Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using this website and our event photography services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable New Zealand laws and regulations, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986.

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Services

shrexxonzla provides professional event photography services including but not limited to weddings, corporate events, celebrations, and special occasions throughout New Zealand. All services are subject to availability and booking confirmation.

Our services are provided in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, which guarantees that services will be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and completed within a reasonable time.

Booking and Payment

Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a signed agreement and deposit payment (typically 50% of the total fee). Final payment is due 14 days before the event date or as specified in your service agreement. All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.

Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods as agreed. All transactions are processed securely in accordance with New Zealand financial regulations.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing. Our refund policy complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:

  • More than 30 days before event: Full refund minus 20% administrative fee
  • 15-30 days before event: 50% refund of total payment
  • Less than 15 days before event: No refund (deposit retained)

If we are unable to provide services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will provide a full refund or offer alternative arrangements.

Photography Rights

All photographs taken by shrexxonzla remain the copyright property of shrexxonzla. Clients receive a non-exclusive licence to use the photographs for personal, non-commercial purposes as specified in their service agreement.

We retain the right to use photographs for promotional purposes (website, social media, marketing materials) unless you specifically request otherwise in writing. You have the right to request that your images not be used for promotional purposes.

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

Our services are provided with the guarantees set out in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If our services fail to meet these guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy, which may include:

  • Re-performance of the service
  • Refund or compensation for any reduction in value
  • Damages for reasonably foreseeable losses

Limitation of Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure quality service, our liability is limited to the value of the photography services provided, subject to the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.

We are not liable for circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Adverse weather conditions
  • Venue restrictions or access issues
  • Client-provided information errors
  • Equipment failure despite reasonable maintenance
  • Acts of third parties

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of shrexxonzla and protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
